High-impact communication across campaigns and operational content

The challenge

As one of the world’s most recognisable brands, Coca-Cola operates across diverse markets, audiences and communication channels. This creates a constant need for clear, consistent messaging that aligns with global brand standards while remaining locally relevant.

To achieve this, the Coca‑Cola Company operates through a franchise-style system of independent bottling partners, where concentrates and syrups are produced centrally while local bottlers manufacture, package, distribute and sell finished products. Across Europe, this role is largely fulfilled by Coca-Cola HBC (CCHBC) – our end client – creating a decentralised but highly coordinated communication environment.

Content types

CCHBC manages a wide range of content types, from campaign materials and corporate communications to internal updates and stakeholder-facing documentation. Campaign activity in particular spans global product launches, digital promotions and major sponsorship programmes, including integrated product campaigns, interactive consumer promotions and international sports partnerships.

These materials must be delivered accurately and efficiently across languages, often under tight deadlines and with high visibility. Ensuring consistency across formats, maintaining tone of voice and supporting rapid turnaround requirements adds complexity – particularly when content spans marketing, corporate and operational contexts.

Our approach

Support was delivered across a wide range of materials, including corporate communications, internal documentation, campaign assets and externally facing content – ensuring continuity across both strategic and day-to-day communications.

This included campaign and promotional content such as product launch campaigns, digital engagement initiatives and sponsorship-related materials. Work spanned integrated marketing campaigns, product releases such as Coca-Cola Zero, interactive consumer promotions like the My Coke Zone programme and high-profile sponsorship campaigns linked to global events such as the FIFA World Cup and Olympic Games, alongside retail activation assets such as point-of-sale materials and branded in-store displays.

Support also extended to campaigns with multiple touchpoints and audiences, including global sponsorship activations and community-focused initiatives. This required consistent messaging across brand, promotional and corporate communications, ensuring alignment regardless of channel or audience.

A structured, consistent approach was applied across all formats, aligning terminology, tone and messaging to maintain brand integrity. Processes were designed to handle both planned campaign activity and ad hoc requests, enabling responsiveness without compromising quality – particularly where turnaround expectations were tight.

Flexible workflows supported varying formats and timelines, while maintaining rigorous quality standards. Particular attention was given to sensitive or high-profile materials, ensuring accuracy, consistency and reputational protection.

The result

  • Clear, consistent messaging across multiple languages and content types
  • Strong alignment with global brand voice and tone
  • Reliable delivery across both planned campaigns and urgent requests
  • Flexible support for evolving communication needs
  • Secure handling of sensitive and high-visibility materials

Coca-Cola HBC benefited from a streamlined approach to multilingual communication that supported both campaign execution and operational delivery. This ensured messaging remains consistent, accurate and effective across markets, reinforcing brand integrity while supporting complex, multi-channel communication at scale.
